The Georgetown Center, a 350,000 square foot regional shopping center located in Georgetown, Kentucky, is a joint venture between Lormax Stern Development, Grand Sakwa Properties, and Rubin Development. The shopping center is located at the NEC of Interstate 75 and 460 (Paris Pike), just 15 miles north of Lexington and 50 miles south of Cincinnati.

Target and JC Penny are proposed to be anchoring the development and there is availability for mid-box, small shop and restaurant space, and other retailers. They include an appliance store, a pet store, and a bank. Georgetown Center will be the premier regional shopping center in the region, catering to a population of approximately 150,000 people within its trade area.

Georgetown, Kentucky is the county seat in the region being the home of such manufacturers as Toyota, employing approximately 8,000 people and residence to Georgetown College. This region is the fastest growing in the state of Kentucky, with Georgetown topping growth within its region. The city has grown nearly 20% since 2000 and 49% within the last 10 years. Over 6,000 additional housing lots have been approved and are in various stages of development.

The development is scheduled to be completed by July 2008.
