 North Kent Mall was “de-malled” to make room for contemporary retailers. Lowe’s, Kmart, Dunham’s and Dollar Tree anchor this previously enclosed mall located in Plainfield Township. The Jupiter Avenue extension of 1997 bridged the Grand River, thereby expanding the trade area and increasing traffic along the Plainfield corridor.
