Shelby Creek is a shopping center being developed as a joint venture between Kirco Development Company and Lormax Stern Development Company. This team recently completed the 400,000 square foot Baldwin Commons project in Auburn Hills, Michigan.

Shelby Creek is located between Van Dyke and the M-53 Expressway on the south side of 26 Mile Road. There is a full service interchange, servicing freeways at the northeast corner of the site.

The Shelby Creek development will consist of approximately 400,000 square feet of retail space including Kohl's, Home Depot, Michael's and a proposed Target. There is also approximately 24,000 square feet of retail space in permanent outlot positions to accommodate local or small national retailers such as Blockbuster and Caribou Coffee, as well as several restaurant outlots. Mount Clemens General Hospital has a satellite facility located on the site.

Meijer is completing construction of a 250,000 square foot facility directly across from the site on the north side of 26 Mile. Other developments in the area include a major high-tech park two miles south at 24 Mile Road and a multitude of new high-end residential subdivision developments around the site in each direction.
