A big retailer is coming to Mid-Michigan. Lormax Stern Development Company, co-owner and manager of Bay City Town Center has finalized the sale of the former Target building to Big R Stores.
The 101,909-square-foot building will join JCPenney, PetSmart, Dunham’s, Marshalls, Ollies, Planet Fitness and Bay City 10-GDX in the shopping center location on E. Wilder Road.
“Finding the right retailer for the former Target building has been a top priority for Lormax Stern since the store closed in 2015.” Said Barbara Behmlander, General Manager of Bay City Town Center “This has been a key building to fill for the property and the Wilder Road corridor.”
Big R will carry a wide variety of products, including farm supplies, seasonal items, apparel, pet products, sporting goods, houseware, tools, food and much more.
The retailer is set to open in 2019.
